DARRYL FOSTER was born June 16, 1971 in the northern mining town of Wawa, Ontario. At age five his family moved south where he was raised in the Southwestern Ontario town of Forest. He studied at the University of Windsor and obtained an Honours B.A. in Psychology and a Certificate in Criminology. Despite his academic achievements, Darryl went on to pursue invaluable life experiences that have shaped his life and creative muse.

Currently, Darryl holds a Corporate Sales Manager position contracting conference events for Blue Mountain Resort. He is the founder of the South Georgian Bay Riders Motorcycle Club and is a member of the Collingwood Writing Collective.

Darryl is a night owl writer. He loves to read and write thrilling stories stirred with dread and supernatural flavors. His fiction can be found online at commuterlit.com as a contributing author. In 2015 his short story Red Silk won a story competition in the Writer’s Arena, and in 2016 his short story Crude Lake was accepted into the horror anthology, Fearless Fathoms: Tales of Aquatic Terror to be published by Scarlet Galleon Publications in the summer of 2016. He resides north of Toronto in Collingwood.
