DARRYL FOSTER was born June 16, 1971 in the northern mining town of Wawa, Ontario. At age five his family moved south where he was raised in the Southwestern Ontario town of Forest. He studied at the University of Windsor and obtained an Honours B.A. in Psychology and a Certificate in Criminology.
Currently, Darryl holds a Corporate Sales Manager position contracting conference events for Blue Mountain Resort. He is the past-founder of the South Georgian Bay Riders Motorcycle Club and past member of the Collingwood Writing Collective and Wasaga Beach Writing Club.
Darryl’s flash fiction has appeared online at commuterlit.com and on various blogs. In 2015 his short story Red Silk won an online writing competition in the Writer’s Arena and in 2016 his short story Crude Lake was accepted for publication in the horror anthology Fearless Fathoms: Tales of Aquatic Terror Volume II, alongside tales by Ronald Malfi, Michael Bray and Graham Masterton. In 2019 Darryl’s flash fiction story The Water Tower Ghost was published by Crystal Lake Publishing in Shallow Waters Volume 2. Darryl resides in Collingwood, north of Toronto.
